Freedom Shrine at VES

This month, the Exchange Club of Lynchburg installed a new Freedom Shrine at the Virginia Episcopal School. This educational display provides some of our youngest Americans with the history or our nation.

The Freedom Shrine is a permanently mounted collection of historic American documents, including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Gettysburg Address. They show our nation's youth the strength and courage of their founders by allowing them to read, with their own eyes, the immortal words of inspired Americans who so decisively changed the course of history.
